Hi Everyone! I don’t know about you all, but somehow it seems like this year is actually flying by…That’s a great thing for two reasons: 1) It means we are that much closer to one of the craziest years on record being over (We won’t miss you 2020!) and 2) It means the holidays are just around the corner!!!

The Holiday Season and Quarantine are sort of the perfect match, wouldn’t you agree?! Bring on the cozy fires, holiday movies, hot drinks & cookies! I fully intend to start celebrating before Thanksgiving. I think this year gives us license to put up our holiday decor and lights whenever we want with no judgement. COVID may have taken Trick or Treating from us, but it can’t steal cozy holiday nights!

If you follow me on Instagram (@kjdietz88) you probably saw that I recently announced the upcoming launch of my 2020 Holiday Collection and I’m so excited to announce that my collection of Holiday Cards & Tags is live!!!

There are two themes in my 2020 Holiday Collection, the first being “Woodland Dreams”, which includes a Holiday Card & Gift Tag set. The inspiration for this set came to me on a recent hike in Leavenworth (If you’re not familiar Leavenworth is basically like a real life Snowglobe, Hallmark move, and Whoville/Mt Krumpet combined at Christmas time, but that’s another story). This hike had SO many adorable chipmunks and blue jays and I knew they had to be a part of this set.

The Card set includes eight 5 in x 7 in cards, with four different designs and comes with 8 envelopes. The Gift Tag set includes ten 5 in x 2.5 in tags and comes with ten pieces of beige/gold twine.

The second theme in my 2020 Holiday Collection is “Holiday Spirit”, which also includes a Holiday Card & Gift Tag set. The inspiration for this set was the need to bring some real joy and happiness to this holiday season. It’s no secret that this year has been HARD for everyone in one way or another. I chose brighter colors that to me evoke happiness and cheer. I wanted a couple of the cards to give a little nod to this year and how much we all are looking forward to this holiday season and a little cheer and joy.

The Card Set includes eight 5 in x 7 in cards, with four designs and comes with 8 envelopes. The Tag Set includes ten 5 in x 2.5 in tags and comes with 10 pieces of red & white twine.

Wrapping my gifts is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season (I’m weird I know!). I wanted to show how these gift tags & cards could be used and paired with different wrapping in real life.

My goal was to have the two themes be unique, but also still cohesive so that they could be paired together. I think they all work really well with kraft and red paper. I didn’t want everyone to have to buy a bunch of different papers if they wanted both sets-The Holiday season can be spendy! I also love how the pink and blue ribbon pair perfectly with both sets.

WRAPPING TIPS:

1) For the perfect finishing touch I love tying on a small ornament in your color scheme or tucking a little piece of winter branch under the ribbon! It’s fun to mix and match which you do on each present so that there is a variety while remaining cohesive.

2) I love mixing different shades of paper and ribbon. I used a pink velvet ribbon and a blue satin ribbon for this set and I really like the mix of textures. To add even more variety I tied some gifts with a bow and others I did a fun twist method.
